- Purity Parameters Description: This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ-RML-C-1859692 This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-94and95_1-19-17.pdf as of (03-21-17). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325414 with a small business size standard of 1250 employees. This is not a total small business set aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking to purchase C. trachomatis LPS (Lipopolysaccharide) Typ E lyophilized, quantity of 8 (250 ug). The product must meet the following criteria: 1.) The chlamydial trachomatis lipopolysaccharide, LPS, lyophilized must be made from human Chlamydia trachomatis serovar E organisms. 2.) The isolated chlamydial LPS must meet the purity parameters described in the attached file for both mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear resonance spectrometry (NMR). This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for C. trachomatis LPS Typ E lyophilized as defined herein. The government intends to award a fixed-price purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
