This is a Pre- Solicitation Announcement The Amarillo VAHCS needs hospitalists services. The Hospitalist is responsible for participating in weekend on-call rotation coverage. Contract services are needed 24-hours a day. There is no set tour of duty. Tours of duty are on a rotating basis as needed for coverage and assigned. Tours of duty include, but are not limited to: 7a-5p, 7a-7p, 7p-7a. Days of work are on an as needed rotating basis. Tour of duty assignments are inclusive of Federal Holidays. Background. The Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) in Amarillo, TX provides inpatient hospitalist services to Veteran patients. Medicine Service at the Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) in Amarillo, TX requires hospitalists to provide acute inpatient medical care. Note All vendors/contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management www.sams.gov to be eligible for any government contract. Failure to register in the System for Award Management will result in award to the next qualified vendor. Additionally, if you are a SDVOSB/VOSB you must have a CVE on record on the VET BIZ website in order to claim this socioeconomic category.
