Description
Solicitation for Telehealth E-Protocol The Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) requires an electronic telehealth nursing triage protocol for telehealth nursing standardization. This access shall be for all 76 MTFs and any new MTF that may be established within the 10-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) ordering period. The Government requires individual access for all nurses engaged in telehealth nursing practice. The Government requires the following: A file that can be placed on a server of SharePoint site for all Evidence based triage protocols that are updated annually Available protocols in adult/OB/pediatrics (American academy of pediatrics endorsed) with a comprehensive number of available protocols (currently operating with 161 adult and 225 pediatric) Digital format only with copy/paste functionality to capture questions asked and home care advice given to the patient (expedited and standardized documentation processes) Easy to follow triage protocol that delineates when a patient should be seen in the ED, same day in the clinic, within the next 1-3 days, within the next week or two, or given home care advice, as applicable Contain references for each individual protocol OTC medication recommendation section Intra-protocol references and definitions to assist the nurse(s) in better understanding the material and ensuring the patients are given standardized responses/explanations Ongoing vendor support for questions and concerns that arise from the field
