Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION Department of Veterans Affairs The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the Virginia Beach Veteran Center located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The current lease is expiring September 30, 2017. Requirement State: Virginia City: Virginia Beach Delineated Area: North: US-13N/US-60E South: State Route 603/149 East: Interstate 64 E/W West: US 60 Minimum NUSF: 3,900 Maximum NUSF: 3,900 Space Type: Clinical All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before September 30, 2017. Term, lease term will be 20 years; 5 year firm fixed price with three 5 (five) years renewal options. The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 324 Southport Circle, Suite 102, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the Virginia Beach Veteran Center should relocate. All responses are due by July 10, 2017.
