- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The U.S. Army, MICC - Fort Carson, CO has been tasked to solicit for and award for HD Digital Cable TV Services for multiple locations (18+ buildings, to include the main hospital) on Fort Carson. The results and analysis of this Sources Sought Synopsis will assist in the determination of procurement method. The type of set-aside issued will depend upon the responses received from this synopsis. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Large Business, Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Women Owned Small Business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of installing and maintaining the equipment necessary to provide uninterrupted HD Digital Cable TV Services at multiple locations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year as well as provide the actual TV programming. Service calls for outages due to equipment failure or damage or loss of service must be addressed within 24 hours or the next business day, whichever is soonest. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 517110 Wired Telecommunications Carriers (2012), which has a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. The Standard Industrial Code is 4841 Cable and Other Pay Television Services and the Federal Supply Code is D318 IT & Telecommunications - Integrated hardware/software/services solutions. Firm's response to this SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS shall include the following information: 1. Vendor's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2. Vendor's proof of ability to fulfill the requirement for Sling Load Training Blocks for Fort Carson, CO. This proof should include but not limited to drawings, photos, specifications, and previous government contracts that demonstrate the firm's ability to properly produce the required items. 3. Vendor's Business Size - IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 19.203(a) 4. Interested Firm's shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 1:00pm (MST) 14 July 2017.
