- The U.S. Census Bureau, General Contracts Branch, Acquisitions Division, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Nlyte Software, 2800 Campus Drive, San Mateo, CA 99403 under the authority of FAR 6.302-5(c)(1)(iii)(B). The Census Bureau intends to acquire services from Nlyte Software to: Installation of Nlyte Software on Census premises A technical consultant will install two (2) copies of Nlyte® at the Census site. One installation will be a production environment and one will be a Development/Test environment. Install one (1) copy of NEO in production. A technical consultant will install or provide the path to the Bulk Data Management (BDM) Tool. The installation of the software will be done remotely via Webex or similar method. 1.1.2 Inventory asset data normalization and upload to Nlyte Software A project team from Nlyte Software will provide implementation covering the configuration and population of Nlyte software with a target of approximately 400 Racks from the Census data centers. The initial asset data to be populated will be based on data provided by Census in an Nlyte Software furnished MS Excel spreadsheet template. The senior consultant from Nlyte Software will upload Nlyte with the approved, final data set for the Racks. The senior consultant from Nlyte Software will create 4 room plans based on drawings supplied by the Census. Census will provide the initial room plan image of the data center environment or space to be implemented in an appropriate format (e.g. MS Visio, AutoCAD file for conversion to.png format). The number of equipment types (Materials) for the assets that are non-standard (User Defined) with Nlyte Software's Materials catalogue will be limited to less than 30. The inventory asset data normalization and upload to Nlyte Software will be done remotely via Webex or similar method. 1.1.3 Delivery of Nlyte Standard and Advance training to Staff A training consultant will conduct the following courses: Nlyte Standard course - 5 students max o This two day course will provide personnel with practical instruction and experience in using the Nlyte system. The training will cover the core Nlyte functionality that the majority of users will utilize on a regular basis. Nlyte Advance course - 5 students max The Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Thus, this is not a formal solicitation.
