Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR VA255-17-R-0721, The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO 15) has a requirement for Project 589A6-15-205, Remodel Canteen at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center (VAMC) Leavenworth KS. This project will support the Canteen s effort to reconfigure the Patriot Café at the EKHCS Leavenworth VA campus. The contractor shall provide all tools and equipment to remodel the Canteen area at the Leavenworth VAMC. The project includes designing for sufficient utilities for the planned equipment, disconnecting existing utilities and installing new utilities to equipment, removal of a few walls, construction of a few walls, wall treatments, painting, removal and disposal of old furniture, installation of new ceiling tiles, lighting and security cameras. The project also includes relocating the Patriot Brew from the existing patient waiting room to the vending machine area. Contractor shall be provided a 100% completed design document (drawings and specifications) to initiate and complete construction execution in accordance with contract requirements. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d) and in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006, this solicitation will be a 100% Total Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 236220 Small Business size is 36.5 Million and the PSC is Y1DZ. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management Contractor Registration, 52.204-8 Annual Representation and Certification and in accordance with FAR 2.101, Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 802.101, VetBiz Registration, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in the VetBiz databases under the applicable NAICS. Firms may obtain SAM information at http://www.sam.gov and VetBiz information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The solicitation package should be available for download on or about July 14, 2017 and shall remain open for thirty (30) days. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided; and telephone requests or questions will NOT be accepted.
