- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst has a requirement for Tronair Inc. brand name equipment for use on the P-8A aircraft as follows: Hydraulic Power Unit (Diesel), Part Number: 673A5FCBBCLMNY4, NSN: 4920-01-619-3373 and Hydraulic Power Unit (Diesel), Part Number 673A5FCCBBCLMNY4, NSN: 4920-01-619-3373. T he Government intends to issue a brand name only competitive solicitation for this requirement. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract. The maximum quantities to be ordered over a five year period is anticipated to be 35 each of the Hydraulic Power Unit (Electric) unit and 33 each for the Hydraulic Power Unit (Diesel). The Tronair Inc. items described above are the only units that have been tested and approved for use on the P-8A aircraft. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
