Solicitation Number : FA2550-17-R-8007 Notice Type : Sources Sought: Title : New Boston Security Service (NBSS) Classification Code : R - Professional, administrative, and management support services NAICS : 561612 - Security Guards and Patrol Services Description : SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: This is a Sources Sought request for information to be used for market research purposes only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This sources sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a request for quotation or proposal. Do not submit a quote or proposal in response to this sources sought. The Government is conducting market research to find interested and capable 8(a) certified firms. The government shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement. Participation is strictly voluntary. This notice will close 28 July 2017 at 16:00 Mountain Time. The 23 rd Space Operations Squadron has an anticipated requirement for Security Services for New Boston AFS, New Hampshire 03070 for the period of performance listed below: Phase In: 1 Jun 19 - 31 Aug 19 Base Period: 1 Sep 19 - 30 Jun 20 Option Period One: 1 Jul 20 - 30 Jun 21 Option Period Two: 1 Jul 21 - 30 Jun 22 Option Period Three: 1 Jul 22 - 30 Jun 23 Option Period Four: 1 Jul 23 - 30 Jun 24 The overview of the work to be performed consists of, but is not limited to: protecting Protection Level (PL) resources; holding and releasing violators; safeguarding disaster or crime scenes; directing traffic; processing and maintaining Security Force records; protecting restricted and controlled areas; implementing, operating, and monitoring a resource protection program; protecting facilities, materials, and personnel from injury or damage and protecting weapons, ammunition, and classified information. The scope of the work is as follows: The contractor shall provide certified, trained, and qualified armed security guards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, training, management, and supervisory personnel in support of New Boston Air Force Station (NBAFS), New Hampshire. The contractor shall be providing at a minimum all uniforms, vehicles and any other equipment, tools, materials, and other items and services necessary to perform security services except certain Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Government Furnished Services (GFS). The government furnished equipment are items such as body armor, helmets, holsters, pouches, weapons, ammunition, handcuffs with keys, whistles, some radios, some computers and telephones. The government furnished property is work space and some desks and chairs. The government furnished services is telephone service, utilities and official mail service. Respondents shall provide a statement of capabilities to meet the anticipated requirement. Feedback on this requirement is encouraged. The anticipated NAICS is 561612 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19M. Interested 8(a) respondents should submit a capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length) clearly demonstrating the firm's ability to perform the services listed. A generic capability statement is not acceptable. At a minimum, the package shall address the following: •1. Title of the requirement, Company Name, Address, and POC. •2. Company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number/CAGE Code, and a statement regarding current 8(a) status to include exit date. •3. Prior/current experience (private and/or government) of providing security services on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis. Statements should describe the dollar value of the prior/current experience, indicate whether your firm acted as the prime or subcontractor, list a customer Point of Contact with phone number, and provide a description of the experience and how it relates to the services described in this announcement.
