Solicitation Number: 2017-505th Test Squadron (505 TS) Industry Day at Combined Air Operations Center – Nellis (CAOC-N) Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: DESCRIPTION: U.S. Air Force 505 TS - Industry Day WHEN: July 20, 2017 6:00 pm – 12:30 am WHERE: 3663 Tyndall Avenue, Building 202, Nellis AFB, NV 89191 WHAT: 505 TS is hosting an Industry Day at CAOC-N during RED FLAG 17-3 to provide industry insight on the operational –level warfighting domain integration accomplished during USAFWC exercise events. This event will offer the opportunity for industry participants to meet with AOC operators during RED FLAG employment in order to learn more about how operational-level warfighters employ in a contested, degraded and operationally limited environment. Industry participants will be able to dialogue with air/space/cyber/ISR domain operators to share perspective on employment during major combat operations against a simulated near-peer adversary. TOPICS: Planned presentation includes RED FLAG Overview brief, RED FLAG Mass Brief, AOC Brief, AOC execution, and AOC Debrief. During execution, participants will be observing the 3-hour AOC vulnerability window and be able to interact with operational-level warfighters on a non-interference basis. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? • Federal contractors (large and small) in services and service acquisition. • Representatives from Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a), HUB-Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. • Government acquisition organizations REGISTRATION: • Each Company/Individual must pre-register to attend this event. Please email event sponsor, Maj Daniel Bundy, 505 TS/DOT Flight Commander at daniel.bundy.1@us.af.mil. Please use subject line "505 Test Squadron Industry Day Attendees" and indicate your company name, any specific areas of interest (if applicable), and how many will attend the event. You will receive a reply email with a visit request form. Please complete the form and return by July 14, 2017. The request must include all information requested for each individual planning to attend. • There is no charge to attend this event. • Registration for the event will close July 14, 2017 GROUND RULES: • Attendees are permitted to take unclassified notes of the day’s events; electronic recording devices may not be used. • The Government will not compensate industry participants for travel, lodging, or any other expenses associated with this Industry Day, unless authorized under preexisting contracts with the Government. • This announcement does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not a commitment by the Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services. We ask that government and industry partners attending this event refrain from having dialogue concerning any and all current acquisitions. • This Industry Day is avenue to inform industry of the activities of the 505 TS. This event is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a subsequent solicitation (BAA, RFP, etc.).
