- Description
- On or about August 2017 the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL ETA) anticipates issuing a request for proposal (RFP) for the Montana/Utah Outreach & Admissions and Career Transition Services. Job Corps is a national residential and non-residential training and employment program administered by the United States Department of Labor to address multiple barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged youth, ages 16-24 years, throughout the United States. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The contract will have a 1-year base period, plus four (4) governmental unilateral renewal options for one (1) year each. The contractor shall provide Outreach and Admissions services in the States of Colorado and Wyoming and shall ensure the arrival of a minimum of 1,565 students into the Anaconda, Clearfield, Collbran, Kicking Horse, Trapper Creek, Weber Basin and Wind River Job Corps Centers annually for residential male and female students, and nonresidential male and female students. The contractor shall provide Post-Center Career Transition Services annually for 1,409 youth (939 graduates and 470 former enrollees) returning/relocating to the States of Colorado and Wyoming. The basic purpose of the Post-Center Career Transition Services System is to provide the necessary assistance and support to ensure that eligible students leaving the Job Corps program are placed into a job, the military, or additional training, and that program graduates receive the support necessary to retain employment long-term.
