Description

RECOVERY - THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (SSA) WILL FUND THE PROPOSED ACTION IN WHOLE VIA THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (PUB. L. 111-5) (RECOVERY ACT). THE AGENCY PROVIDES THIS NOTICE "FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY." The proposed action is only available to one of SSA's existing Information Technology Support Services Contractor (ITSSC), Accenture Federal Solutions, LLC, under a pre-existing agency-wide Indefinite-delivery, Indefinite-quantity Contract, Number SS00-10-60113. SSA intends to issue a firm-fixed-price (FFP) task order for services related to Technical Area 7 (Emerging Technologies) within the contract. SSA anticipates issuing a FFP Task Order (i.e. 0022) to the contractor under the ITSSC contract, following FAR 12.207 and the ordering procedures of FAR 16.505. The task order is anticipated to be issued on or before September 1, 2017, and have a 1-year period of performance from September 1, 2017 - through August 31, 2018. This notice is for "Informational purposes only."
