- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions received in response to the original solicitation posting. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation SB134117RQ0748 remain unchanged. 1. Question: I was unable to locate any specific reply form for "COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION SB134117RQ0748" on your website. Can I reply within the original word document? Answer: There is no specific reply form - contractors may respond within the original word document or another form at their discretion. 2. Question: RE: "Documentation that confirms the contractor is capable of fulfilling the requirements of the SOW" Just to confirm, would the drawings and technical specifications of the VARIABLE-TEMPERATURE STAGE suffice for this item? Answer: Drawings and technical specifications would more than likely suffice, however, NIST recommends that you review the SOW in its entirety prior to quote submission to make sure all requirements are addressed, as technical specifications/drawings may not address every specification in the SOW, or the required delivery timeframe. 3. Question: RE: "A completed version of all required solicitation provisions (see attached provisions/clauses document - required submissions highlighted in blue) Would it be sufficient for me to complete the highlighted in blue sections only in the attached "Provisions/Clauses document"? Answer: Yes, this would be sufficient. 4. Question: RE: "Place of manufacture." / "Manufactured end product" Does this item apply if the design, assembly, testing, and installation will be done in the US., but the manufacturing will be outside of the US.? Answer: If more than 50% of the costs associated with the final product are for items manufactured outside of the U.S., the item should be noted as manufactured outside of the U.S.
