- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation synopsis for upcoming project 15-0055 Repair Indoor Training Pool, Building M139, located at Marine Corps Base Camp Johnson, North Carolina. The work includes, but is not limited to, renovation of the building, installation of new doors and windows, renovation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, installation of new finishes, performance of site work, and performance of incidental related work. The completion timeframe will be 300 calendar days after the date of contract award. The work will be subject to Buy American Act requirements. The requirement will be procured utilizing sealed bidding procedures from Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $36,500,000.00. The project value is estimated to range between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Bidders can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. It is estimated that the package will be available on or around July 27, 2017. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Government will only accept bids from small business concerns. Bidders will be required to submit with their bid a bid bond of $3,000,000.00 or 20% of the amount for Wage Rate Requirements (Construction) work.
