Description

The VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS) is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Small Business (SB) sources capable of meeting the requirement listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. NOTE: TO QUALIFY SDVOSB AND VOSB VENDORS MUST BE CERTIFIED IN THE VA VENDOR INFORMATION PAGES (VIP) DATABASE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 81121. Any SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must provide notification to the Contract Specialist no later than NOON PM Central Time, June 21, 2017. SCOPE: Statement of Work (SOW) Pharmacy & Logistics Medication Dispensing Cabinets Maintenance, VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS) Customer: Facilities Management/ Biomedical Engineering Department, VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS) General: For parts and labor services between VATVCBHCS and Omni cell, to provide on-site technical service to the pharmacy, logistics and supply server, on-site service desktop for the pharmacy department, on-site vendor service and repair parts for the pharmacy medication dispensing cabinets/server plus logistics dispensing cabinets and supply management server during the period of the contract. Description of Work: All encompassing Parts and Labor Service Contract. It will cover all equipment located at Texas Valley Coastal Bend facility. Contract: As described in this section. Contract will provide remote access solutions and repair parts for items under this contract. Responsibilities and duties of contract include: 24 X 7 technical supports. Unlimited repair parts delivered overnight, if available. Consumables and accessories are not included. Requests will be initiated by the customer either through the contractor s website or by calling their toll-free number. Bartlet Ave. Laredo, TX78041 Administrative: One year service contract, no option years Specific Instructions: All VA sensitive information/hard drive and memory will stay with the VA when/if parts need to be replaced or refurbished. Privacy Officer: The contractor does not have WILL NOT have access to staff or patient information nor will they have the capability of accessing patient information during services provided to the VA. Information Systems Officer, Information Protection: The contractor WILL NOT does not have access to VA Desktop computers nor will they have access to online resources belonging to the government while conducting services.  REMOTE ACCESS IS NOT AUTHORIZED. A security plan has been completed by Supply and Pharmacy. The COR is responsible for ensuring that the contractors Technicians stay up-to-date with their annual VA privacy training and filed in the appropriate folder in Biomed. Records manager:   There will not be federal records created, maintained, used or disposed of with this contract; regardless of format [paper, electronic, etc.] or mode of transmission [e-mail, fax, etc.].
