Description
This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this market research will assist in the re-evaluation of the acquisition strategy in accordance with recent VA Procurement Policy guidance. VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice and does not guarantee an RFQ will follow. Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify small businesses, and specifically, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide and install one (1) Brand Name or Equal DRYVIEW 5950 LASER IMAGER AND STAND as defined below for the Philadelphia, PA VA Medical Center Summary The Corporal Michael J Crescenz VAMC Diagnostic Imaging Department is replacing the Diagnostic Imaging Dryview Laser Printer. This Laser Printer is at end-of- life. The Current printer has an unsupported Operating System (Windows XP). Per VA requirement, all unsupported Operating Systems need to be replaced Project Scope The scope of work is delivery and configuration of a Dryview Laser Printer. The below listed vendor quotation provides specification details. Biomedical Engineering at The Corporal Michael J Crescenz VAMC will de-install the Laser Printer and turn-in to Logistics as per VA policy. The expectation of the vendor is to install/configure the Dryview Laser Printer for printing General Radiology and Mammography studies from Philips PACS and the Diagnostic Imaging Modality. (35 x 43 cm) 14 x 14 in. (35 x 35 cm) 11 x 14 in. (28 x 35 cm) 10 x 12 in. (25 x 30 cm) 8 x 10 in. (20 x 25 cm) Automatic image quality control (AIQC) No manual start-up or film calibration procedures Ensures consistency from film to film Automatic with no manual user intervention Network connectivity Integrated DICOM interface supports printing from DICOM modalities Built in with no separate DICOM server The vendor will install/configure the Laser Printer for printing General Radiology and Mammography studies from Philips PACS and the Modality. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 4 is seeking responses from small businesses, particularly service disabled veteran owned (SDVOSB) and veteran owned (VOSB), who are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide this product. This is in accordance with the Supreme Court decision known as The Rule of Two.
