- This notice is being posted to provide an avenue for sealed bids for Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912PM-17-B-0008. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires the following: furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to repair the damaged and deteriorating structural components, mooring and berthing systems, and utilities of the South Wharf to ensure the integrity of the entire facility for continued safe, efficient utilization for munitions loading and unloading operations. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about July 29, 2017. The proposal date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990- Other Heavey and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. Call 1-866-606-8220 for more information or visit the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. THE GOVERNMENT CHARGES NO FEES FOR REGISTRATION IN SAM. IF YOU ARE REQUESTED TO SUBMIT A FEE, YOU ARE NOT DEALING WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S SITE. After completing SAM, in order to download documents, contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov.
