- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about 08 August 2017. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Set Aside for Small Business. The base period of performance will be for 12 months commencing on 01 October 2017 through 30 September 2018 and include four one-year option periods, with a 6 month option for extension IAW FAR 52.217-8, if exercised. The FSC Code is F108. The NAICS Code is 562119, with a size standard of $38.5 million. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Biomedical Hazardous Waste Collection and Disposal services for the Navy Drug Screening Laboratory (NDSL Jax) at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL. The Contractor shall provide Red bin containers with 96 gallon capacity (Schaefer Container) for collection of urine specimens. Container must be in good working condition and have a flip top with handle and two wheels located on the back for easy mobility. The containers must be provided with Red liner bags. A pick-up will involve approximately 8-16 containers. The estimated annual weight of urine specimen is 275,000 lbs. Designated pick-up times will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The contractor must deliver and maintain at least 15 containers on-site. Biomedical waste shall be autoclaved or incinerated in a qualified facility in accordance with state and federal regulations. The solicitation will be available on or about 08 August 2017 for download on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website at https://www.neco.navy.mil and FEDBIZOPS Website at: https://www.fbo.gov. The RFQ will include instructions for preparation of price quotes, the performance work statement, and evaluation criteria. It is the responsibility of interested parties to register with NECO and or FEDBIZOPS to download the synopsis, solicitation and subsequent amendments and all attachments. Offerors are encouraged to review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of the RFQ, attachments or amendments will be provided. No solicitation mailing list will be issued. System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov registration is mandatory. The SAM is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA), and the Excluded Parties Lists System (EPLS). ONLY email requests for clarification to the Contract Specialist are acceptable. No phone call communications or personal office visits with NAVSUP FLCJAX or its internal or external customers regarding issues or questions pertaining to this procurement will be accepted for the duration of the solicitation, evaluation and award process.
