Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation in its entirety; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotes (RFQ) under solicitation number VA262-17-Q-1212. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 effective January 13, 2017, respectively. The solicitation is in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This is a Small Business set-aside; the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811219, and size standard is $20.5 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 22, headquartered in Long Beach, California has a requirement for Preventive Maintenance Inspections for Beckman Scintillation Counters. The Contractor shall provide the services for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center located at 5901 E. 7th St, Long Beach, CA 90822. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of the contract. The Government intends to award a single award firm-fixed-price contract. Incomplete submittals may be considered nonresponsive for failure to provide a complete submittal. In order to comply with the debt collection improvement act of 1966, all contractors must be registered and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered for an award of a federal contract. This system combines data that was formerly contained in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and Online Representation and Certifications (ORCA). Offers to this solicitation shall be e-mailed not later than 10:00 a.m. PST on Friday July 21, 2017 to the attention of Edgar Alvizar at edgar.alvizar@va.gov with Solicitation Offer Preventive Maintenance for Beckman Scintillation Equipment on the subject line. Files should be sent in PDF format and no larger than 10MB or they will be automatically rejected by the server. Vendor shall expect a confirmation e-mail indicating offer was successfully received by the Government. The Government is not responsible for rejected e-mails that exceed the e-mail capacity. Telephone and fax responses shall NOT be accepted. VENDOR QUESTIONS: All questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer via e-mail at edgar.alvizar@va.gov no later than Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. PST.
