- 1 each Depuy Sigma knee implants and instrumentation or equivalent with vendor rep available in the operating room during patient specific surgery scheduled for 5 September 2017. Knee system, must be designed to treat degenerative joint disease one compartment at a time: medial uni, lateral uni and patellofemoral so that only the affected compartment is replaced and the healthy bone, cartilage and ligaments stay intact. Must have flexion support up to 155 degrees. Bi-compartmental replacement must be possible as either a simultaneous or staged procedure. Must be able to provide a minimum of 14 left and right femoral sizes in both standard and narrow options. Must be able to provide a minimum of 10 tibial sizes with insert thickness increments at 1mm - 2 mm. Minimum estimated required implants are as follows: PFC Sigma femur: 1960-40-XXX Fixed tibial baseplate: 1581-20-XXX Insert: 1581-21-XXX Patella: 96-0-XXX SUBSTITUTE ITEMS: If you plan to provide other than the brand name cited in the purchase description, provide in your response the brand name and the catalog or part number you intend to furnish and the characteristics of the substitute item that are equivalent to the brand name. Also provide all documents which clearly describe the item(s) so that it/they can be evaluated by the end user. Failure to submit the requested substitute item information before the closing date listed above will eliminate the vendor from all further consideration. Items otherwise equal may not satisfy the requirement due to differences in material composition, size, environmental application, etc. If an item is furnished which does not meet the requirement the item will be returned at the vendor's expense for a full refund. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors.
