Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain market information and capabilities for planning purposes and to determine appropriate strategies to meet the Agency's requirements. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or a commitment for an RFP/ RFQ in the future. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposals, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to the Sources Sought Notice. Information received from this Sources Sought Notice may be utilized in preparing potential solicitation documentation. It is the contractor's responsibility to identify proprietary information in response to this notice. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, specifically SDVOSB s and VOSB s and their size classification. NAICS Code 238210 applies. However, all other business sizes are welcome also. SERVICE/WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Gold level Service Agreement coverage (same services as provided by Manufacturer) The contractor will perform on-site preventive maintenance (PM) inspection on equipment/systems as provided for in the contract agreement. PMs will be accomplished in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations. Must use OEM certified parts and service engineer/technicians must be OEM trained on all equipment included in agreement. Toll free support. Unlimited service calls with on-site response within 24 hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). All parts covered. Travel and labor included. Extensive preventive maintenance annually completed within the calendar month required by SAVAHCS (to be provided in advance). 90 day warranty on the replaced Preventive Maintenance kit components following completion of each Preventive Maintenance service Designated Response time 24 hours unless otherwise agreed upon by COR or designee Response: All requests for repair service will be considered requests for emergency service unless a statement to the contrary is made by the COR, POC or designee. A competent service representative adequately equipped with tools, test instruments, service manuals, and repair parts will arrive at the SAVAHCS within the designated response time. The service representative may contact VA staff by phone before arrival at the SAVAHCS. Such contacts, however, will not serve to alter the requirements for arrival on-site except when the request for service is withdrawn by Biomedical Engineering.
