- TITLE: 71-- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AS A SOLE SOURCE TO A SDVOSB VENDOR OPEN MARKET PROCUREMENT SOL: VA242-17-Q-0906 DUE: 07-19-2017, 9AM EST SET ASIDE: NONE NAICS: 337121 POP STATE: United States AGENCY: Department of Veterans Affairs VA Manhattan Campus; 423 East 23rd Street, New York, New York 10010-5011 POC: Shari Lee; shari.lee@va.gov DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AS a SOLE-SOURCE VENDOR under an Open Market Procurement to TrillaMed, LLC for purchase of Stryker Recliner Chairs. Department of Veterans Affairs Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award on a sole source basis with TrillaMed, LLC, (DUNS: 828126321), pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.5 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The proposed contract is for Stryker Recliner Chairs in the Rehabilitation Department. These chairs are needed to replace the outdated, and hard to access Cardiac pacemaker chairs that Veterans sit in while undergoing treatment. With these needed recliners, the comfort of the patients will be top priority, as the patient is undergoing treatment. Market research was conducted and determined that TrillaMed, LLC is the only SDVOSB vendor capable of providing service necessary that meets the requirements. No solicitation document exists and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide supplies/services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to July 19, 2017, by 9AM EST. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to Shari.Lee@va.gov and received by 9AM EST on July 19, 2017; bidders are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time.
