Description: The Physics Department at the Naval Postgraduate School requires two (2) Acoustic Release Transponders for a Moored Ambient Noise Recording System. The transponders shall meet the following specifications:Operational depth at least 6000 m, Lift / Load rating at least 4500 kg, Actuation: High torque motor, Battery life at least two years, Acoustic frequency: broadband within 6 “15 kHz, Positive release confirmation, and Weight no more than 60 kg in air.
