- This is a Sources Sought and is for Market Research Purposes only. This IS NOT A SOLICITATION. Please provide a respond to the Questions Below. The International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) has a requirement for removing, erecting and installing a catwalk platform at American Dam located in El Paso, Texas. This email is for market research purposes only. Do not submit a proposal in response to this email. Any information provided will be used to identify interested Firms and determine if this requirement will be solicited set-aside for small business, 8(a) participants, HUBZone small business concerns, service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, and economically disadvantaged women-owned small business (EDWOSB) concerns and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns eligible under the WOSB Program. Any solicitation for this requirement may be posted on FedBizOps https://www.fbo.gov/. Does your Firm have an experienced and performing removing, installing, saw cutting, erecting and fabricating for the following; Structural Stainless Steel Platform, Stainless Steel Weir Gates, Galvanized Steel? If yes, please provide some examples and the number of years' experience. Does your Firm have experience and skills in the custom fabrication of architectural metal handrails and railings that meet the quality requirements of NAAMM's Pipe Railing Manual (AMP 521)? If yes, please provide some examples. Does your Firm have experience in custom fabrication of architectural metal handrails and railings, and shall meet the quality requirements of NAAMM's Pipe Railing Manual (AMP 521)? If yes, please provide some examples. Does your Firm have experience in any of the following? If yes, please provide some examples. Stainless steel weir gate assemblies include: stems, guide rails, yoke, anchor bolts, stiffeners, guide bearings, neoprene seals, gear reduction, cast steel housing, bevel gears, hank crank, open direction indicator, stop nuts, stem guide bushings, flexable coupling, connecting shaft, and all other appurtenant equipment required to make a complete and operable installation. Saw cut reinforced concrete and structural steel columns (cutting horizontal or vertical) The use of scanning ground penetrating equipment Drilling in to existing reinforced concrete and installing anchor bolts The used of adhesives for the anchoring system Installation of scaffoldings and the potential use of heavy equipment such as mobile crane. The used of Stainless Steel Welding Electrodes and Rods in accordance with AWS D1.1 (American Welding Society)
