REVISED_Wireless_At-Platform_Test_System_SOW ** ATTENTION** FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO: Ms. Kristine Mackey, Contract Specialist, CCAM-CAA-B, ACC-RSA; email: kristine.l.mackey.civ@mail.mil. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quotation (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), or invitation for bid (IFB), or as an obligation for commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the Government as a result of information submitted in response to this sources sought announcement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. This notice is for MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. Should a requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued. The Government is seeking a technology enhancement of the Smart Wireless Internal Combustion Engine (SWICE) Kit. The enhancements will support the Army required FIPS 140-2. The currently fielded SWICE product does not employ a FIPS 140-2 validated radio. In accordance with the SWICE Plan of Action and Milestones, PD TMDE plans to field a SWICE replacement named WATS, which will employ a FIPS 140-2 certified Wi-Fi radio. This sources sought is to search for a vendor capable of providing the design and build of 5 WATS prototypes which will employ a FIPS 140-2 certified Wi-Fi radio in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW). This sources sought notice is hereby amended to update Section 4.0, Milestone of the SOW page 1 of 2. The revision highlighted in yellow is attached.
