Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Washington, DC (VAMC- DC) is small business sources to provide firmed fixed priced contract for services that include but are limited to on sight specialty instrument repairs, extensive repairs, micro-instrument repair, laparoscopic instrument repair, rebuild, laser welding and re-insulation; container repairs, Instrument polishing and refurbishing, diamond dusting, color coating/dura bond, Insulscan testing wand, case care refurbishing, autoclave cleaning, no charge cleaning, inspection, testing and lubrication. The VAMC-DC anticipates issuing a solicitation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for this requirement on or approximately August 7, 2017 with a closing date for proposals on or about September 8, 2017. The solicitation once generated will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested Contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from the website and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendment. The Large and small businesses as well as non-profit organizations are welcome to respond in the event no Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses have the capacity to provide this service. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 811219. Interested parties shall provide capability statement and socio-economic size to Delterine Mickey, Delterine.mickey@va.gov by 2 p.m. e.s.t. on 1 August 2017. To be eligible for award, Contractors must be registered in the SAM data base at SAM.gov. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the website and register as soon as possible to avoid delay should they be selected for a contract award.
