Description
Airworthiness Release (AWR) for Operation of all National Guard Bureau (NGB) CH-47F Helicopters with the Technisonic Multi-Band P25 Airborne Transceiver TDFM-7300 or TDFM-9000 Radio installed (TTS 148293A). Airworthiness Release (AWR) for Operation of all National Guard Bureau (NGB) CH-47F Helicopters with the Technisonic Multi-Band P25 Airborne Transceiver TDFM-7300 or TDFM-9000 Radio installed (TTS 148293A). Sole Source Justification and Approval for TDFM-9000 multi-band radios and associated installations kits. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox (MICC-Knox) intends to award on a sole-source basis a contract to Dallas Avionics, Dallas, Texas for TDFM-9000 multi-band radios and associated installations kits under FAR Part 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The vendor must be able to provide the TDFM-9000 multi-band radios and associated installations kits. Market research has demonstrated that Dallas Avionics is the only responsible source able to meet the government's requirement for the specified radios. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the MICC's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by 11am EST on August 1, 2017. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to laurie.a.presley.civ@mail.mil. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Please note that any prospective offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) @ www.sam.gov prior to award in accordance with FAR Subpart 4.11.
