Description
Amendment 002 is hereby issued to provide government responses to additional questions received on the solicitation. Q1 - Are there manufacturing drawings for the original system, custom components with measurements3d/2D CAD or PDF drawings A1 - Yes, any drawings will be made available to the winning contractor. Q2 - It was discussed during the site visit that the contractor will cut a new access port into the chamber due to the placement of current filters. We would like to take exception to cutting a new pass through wall into the chamber due to unknowns within the wall. We would like this to be provided by NIST. A2 - No need to cut new access hole in wall. The updated SOW now specifies that the robot and servo control cabling to be run along floor in adjacent lab and into the chamber through the existing access port. Q3 - What is the temperature range for chamber as well as where controllers will be located. A3 - The labs are temperature and humidity controlled. The temp control setting is 72 degrees Farenheit with a stability of 1 degree Celcius. Q4 - Howe will the building fire alarm be tied into the e-stop circuitIs it expected to tie into the building fire alarm system? A4 - The fire system will be wired into the servo stop circuitry. NIST will handle the integration of the fire system and robot controller. The contractor should provide a pigtail on the robot controller to plug in the fire system circuitry. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
