Description
W912PM-17-B-0013 for SF-00014-16 - Fire Alarm/Mass Notification System Bldg O-1900N The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to Install/Repair Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Systems, Building O-1900N at Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, NC. Independent fire alarm systems within the building must be interconnected to form a single system that will alert the entire building. In addition, existing, independent mass notification systems in the building shall be interconnected as necessary to provide notification to occupants of all areas of the building of emergency conditions or situations. The work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications, schedules, drawings, and other contract documents. The scope of work of this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following specific items of work: Work involves relocating or replacing duct mounted smoke detectors or providing and/ or installing new duct mounted smoke detectors with all required accessories to meet current NFPA and UFC requirements. Work includes providing and installing emergency AHU shut down switches for all non-critical area air handling units. Fire Alarm and Mass Notification work shall consist of replacing and modifying the existing failed and failing fire alarm system as required to add new Fire Alarm and Mass Notification devices throughout the building to meet current UFC and NFPA codes. Repair and/or replacement of existing fire alarm and mass notification systems throughout the building. Includes conduit, strobes, alarms, and central controls. This work includes completion of design and modifying the existing Honeywell fire alarm and mass notification system and thus requires that new parts be Honeywell parts therefore a Brand Name Justification and Approval will accompany the Solicitation. Antiterrorism/Force protection measures and sustainment mandates will be incorporated. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the size standard is $15,000,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Network analysis will be required. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about August 4, 2017. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation will be a total small business set aside. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
