- Contractor to provide a Firm Fixed Price Repair proposal as provided no later than 4:00 PM CST, August 21, 2017. It is anticipated the contractor will propose a TT&E price per unit, to be followed by a repair cost after inspection. Contractor to provide other than cost or pricing data to support both Item No. 0001 and Item No. 0002. Depending on dollar value of the proposal, DCMA may be requested to assist with reviewing costs. Please propose IAW the below schedule for the non-standard repair of the following; Item No. 0001 BEQ 6EA Test Teardown and Evaluation $___________.___/Unit Item No. 0002 BEQ 6EA Repair TBD Item No. 0003 1LO CDRLs NSP Item No. 0004 1 LO Over and Above TBD NSN 2840-01-475-2555 PN 9995M60G01 Contract terms and conditions shall be in accordance with CFM COI Contract SPE4AX-17-D-9403. This requirement may result in the creation of a subsumible contract number, to include terms and conditions specific to this repair requirement. Terms and conditions could include the following; 252.217-7028 Over And Above Work 52.222-42 Statement Of Equivalent Rates For Federal Hires 52.222-44 Fair Labor Standards Act And Service Contract Act-Price Adjustment 52.245-1 Government Property Please see combined synopsis/solicitation for further information. Duration of Contract Period: October 2018 Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
