- This NOTICE is a result of the Sources Sought notice issued under HSCGG1-17-S-BBOSMOORING The intent of this project is to repair the Wharf 4 Covered Moorings by installing steel shells on the existing steel pipe piles supporting the roof and repairing failed structural bracing. The project consists of structural repairs to the Covered Mooring Floating Dock. The work must be conducted by the contractor to provide the least possible interference to the activities of the government's personnel. The work includes, but is not limited to the following activities: A. Guide Pile Repairs: 1) Prepare surface of existing pipe piles. Remove all welded on steel wear strips. 2) Provide steel pipe epoxy coated shells to encapsulate the existing steel pipe piles. 3) Provide anodes on steel pipe piles 4) Remove marine growth and re-align float modules to ensure even load distribution. B. Repair Underwater Failed Bracing: 1) Provide replacement connection hardware. C. Replace Wear Pads: 1) Replace nine guide pile assembly wear pads. The anticipated construction time is 120 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, with a small business size standard of $36.5M Million. Bid (SF24), payment and performance bonds (SF25, SF25A) will be required. The total estimated value of the procurement is between $400,000 and $700,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 3 August 2017. The tentative date set for bid opening is 4 September 2017 at 2:00 p.m. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.5 Small Business set-aside procedures, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
