Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued RFQ #VA244-17-Q-1321 as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) vendor set-aside to conduct qualitative respirator fit testing and training for N-95 particulate respirators. Services will be provided at both campuses of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (University Drive C, Pittsburgh PA, 15240 and Heinz Campus, 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215). Below are answers to the questions that were presented to us: In reviewing I would like to confirm all work to be done July-September? Correct, all testing will be conducted by 9/30/2017. Can you give me any idea of previous schedules used to complete the  16 8 hour shifts? To confirm, there will be 12 not 16 sessions. Per the solicitation posted, testing could start as early as 5 AM and end as late as 8 PM. Schedules will be coordinated with the COR. Is it possible to schedule multiple days consecutively?   No, because VA employee schedules vary. Again, all work scheduled will be coordinated with the COR. Is this M-F or does it include weekends? All work will be conducted Monday through Friday, no weekends included All our technicians have 5+ years fit test both qualitative and quantitative.   Would this be considered adequate? Per the solicitation, verification of certifications is required to be submitted with your proposal.
