Department of Forest Service Fire and Aviation Services South Zone Fire Cache 53' Dry Van Trailer COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION IAW FAR 12.603 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2005-72. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation, which shall be considered. A contract may be awarded resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region, intends to award one firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of item(s) listed below. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Requirement Item: 53' Dry Van Trailer IAW attached specifications 1 EA Required Delivery Date: The required delivery date is no later than (NLT) 30 days ARO. Delivery Information: FOB Destination to Ontario, CA Inspection and Acceptance: The Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) may will perform an inspection of the trailer van once delivered to the warehouse. Warranty Type: The contractor shall warrant and guarantee all items received for a minimum of 1 year.
