- Description
- The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC) intends to solicit bids to rehabilitate concrete for the north culvert recess at Eisenhower Lock located in Massena, NY. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to rehabilitate portions of damaged concrete in the approximately 12' wide x 14' high x 860' long culvert recess concrete structure utilizing dry mix shotcrete application methods. This work also includes furnishing lights, heat, water and all other utilities during construction. The culvert recess is located approximately 100' below the top of the lock wall working surface and will require working platforms within the underground structure such as a scissor lift to access the rehabilitation work areas. Work to be completed between January 15, 2018 and March 9, 2018. All demolition of damaged concrete (i.e. chipping, saw cutting, etc.) will be completed by the SLSDC prior to the start of work. The final quantity of rehabilitation work for payment purposes will be determined upon completion. The IFB package will be uploaded to this FBO notice on or about August 7, 2017. The tentative response date is September 8, 2017. The project cost range is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to attend a site visit scheduled on August 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM EDST. This is a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. NAICS Code: 238110, Size Standard: $15.0M. Firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers financial assistance to eligible disadvantaged, Hubzone, or service disabled veteran owned businesses. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with a variable interest tied to the prime rate as published in the Wall Street Journal.
