- *** Update to Interested Vendors (changed on 7/20/2017) *** DARPA is still working through the acquisition planning for this requirement. Rather than continue to provide tentative dates that may cause premature preparations we will withhold from posting any further updates until a definitive schedule can be provided. The final acquisition schedule will provide ample opportunity for our industry partners to provide comments on a draft request for proposal (RFP) and attend a one-on-one session with DARPA government representatives. No further Request for Information responses or capability statements will be taken into consideration, although we do welcome any suggestions or concerns, via written submissions, on any acquisition considerations related to the pending RFP. Furthermore, we understand that industry is likely making early preparations by exploring teaming and subcontractor agreements. However, please be advised, due to the niche technical areas required by this future solicitation, DARPA is concerned with maintaining competition at the task order level. In particular, we are concerned with contractors monopolizing highly specialized subcontractor technical expertise via exclusive teaming agreements and therefore will be paying particular attention to compliance with FAR provision 52.203-2(a)(3) and FAR clause 52.203-6.
