- Notice to Exercise Option Year I for Contract R16PC00086 This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office intends to exercise Option Year I of contract R16PC00086 for Law Enforcement Security Surveillance Patrol services throughout Larimer County, Colorado. This contract also contains an Option Year II for the period of August 1, 2018 through July 31, 2019. Reclamation has security management responsibilities for several dams, powerplants, and surrounding lands located in Larimer County, Colorado. Reclamation's authority to administer lands and waters does not include law enforcement authority. However, Reclamation does have authority to establish contracts with local law enforcement agencies to enforce federal regulations as appropriate. Reclamation has found the Larimer County Sheriff's Office to be the only source with full arrest authority to successfully complete the required security and surveillance services. The option will be exercised by July 31, 2017.
