- Request for Information- AF EaaS This Request for Information (RFI) is for market research purposes. The Department of Air Force (AF) Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Environment, Safety and Infrastructure (SAF/IEE), through the office of Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) is seeking capability information from interested parties concerning Energy as a Service (EaaS). SAF/IEE is seeking more effective methods to satisfy requirements for adequacy of energy supply, efficiency, reliability, and resilience. This would include approaches that capitalize on the capabilities of local utilities and leverage the creativity of energy solution providers through a single agreement to invest in, operate, manage, and modernize USAF energy systems. Understanding how Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) may be achieved is the purpose of this Request for Information (RFI). Further details and submission guidelines are located in the attached document. An Industry Forum is expected to take place at the Energy Exchange 2017 event being held the week of Aug 14-18, 2017 in Tampa, FL. Further details are forthcoming. Please continue to check FBO, www.fedbizopps.gov for additional information regarding the logistics of this event which will be provided in a forthcoming amendmentto the RFI. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals. Your response to this notice will be treated as information only.
