- SF 18 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION #: N0017817Q0110 Su bmitted by: Jules Ward NAI CS Code: 541512 FSC Code: 7030 Anticipated Date to be published in FEDBIZOPS: 21 July 2017 Anticipated Closing Date: 28 July 2017 Contracts POC Name: Jules Ward Telephone#: 540-653-8131 Email Address: Julie.waizenhoferwar@navy.mil Code and Description: 7030 - Tactical System Software This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017817Q0110 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to IXI Technology for the following tactical software products: SE-02106-02 and SE-04102-00. IXI Technology is located in Yorba Linda, CA 92887-4604. The introduction of any other manufacturer's software will cause the shipboard systems to undergo additional testing, training, certifications, and development, hindering combat system and fleet readiness. The required software is exclusive to IXI Technology. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 28 July 2017, no later than 3 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 21 August 2017.
