FED-BIZ-OPPS-NOTICE VA262-17-Q-1321_2 Amendment P0001 5. TECHNICAL INQUIRES: Direct all technical inquiries via email to the Administrative Contracting Officer (CO), Timothy Wanamaker at timothy.wanamaker@va.gov not later than July 18, 2017. An amendment will be posted to fbo.gov to address any questions received on or about July 19, 2017. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF AMENDMENTS: The offeror acknowledges receipt of amendments to the Solicitation numbered and dated as follows: AMENDMENT NO.: DATE: Questions Regarding VA262-17-Q-1321, VA Geriatrics Toolkits and Webinar Is there an incumbent contractor? Yes, Sarah Hyduke Duns: 078613419 If there is an incumbent contractor, please provide any available details about the incumbent contract including name of contractor, contract number, and contract value. Name of Contractor: Sarah Hyduke Transaction: 691-16-1-684-0001 Contract amount: $60,000 Reference RFQ 8.1.1, Task 1, The contractor will identify presenters on key geriatrics topics utilizing the input of VA Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Is the contractor required to provide the presenters in addition to identifying them? Yes, the contractor will manage the recruitment of presenters and as well as coordinate the presentations. Is the contractor required to provide Geriatric SMEs? Yes, see above. We respectfully request an extension to the due date. Given the requirement to deliver the response in multiple hard copies as well as on CD, we would appreciate a one-week extension to allow for production and shipping of the response. Yes, we can grant a one-week extension to allow for production; offerors proposals in response to solicitation number VA262-17-Q-1321 will be due 07-28-2017, 12:00 Noon. 6. The payment schedule found on page 10 and page 11 of the solicitation adds up to more than 100%. It adds to 125%. Could you please confirm the appropriate percentages when you post your amendment? Please see edited deliverable percentages in the table below: Item Deliverable % of Contract 1.1 Identify SME as presenters for live webinars or video presentation for each topic and work with VA EES accreditation procedures and will be subject to approval of program staff. 5% 1.2a Four (4) sets of thirteen post-test assessment questions based on content provided in Item 1.1 10% 1.2b Develop written summary of live presentations with appropriate post-test questions  in accordance with VA EES accreditation procedures for self-directed enduring education materials. 10% 2.1 Report detailing currency of all components of VA Geriatric Scholars Toolkit series and recommending products for retirement with potential web-based replacements where appropriate 10% 2.2 Report detailing where each GEM tool should be placed in the VA Geriatric Scholars Toolkit series with text accompaniment explaining the utility of these tools to toolkit users. 10% 2.3 Needs assessment detailing how toolkit series would best meet needs of target audience in VA primary care. 10% 2.4 Provider education summaries explaining how the toolkits best meet 3 distinct needs identified in Deliverable 2.3. 10% 3.1 Report detailing results of product review for each of 12 toolkits in VA Geriatric Scholars Toolkit series with confirmation that materials are appropriate for GPO to print and VA Geriatric Scholars Program staff to disseminate. 15% 4.1 Data set (Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Word files) summarizing details of VA Geriatric Scholars QI projects that have lasted beyond intended scope of the educational program. 20% Total Contract: 100% (End of questions) --End of Amendment--
