- Description
- The subject combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby amended to add following to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The revised PWS is attached. 5.3.2.29 Emergency First Aid. Security Guards must provide immediate first aid to anyone on the facility who becomes sick, injured or wounded until emergency medical personnel arrive. This requirement is limited to life threatening situations to include but not limited to giving CPR, stopping major bleeding, treating for shock, clearing an obstruction of the airway, applying the Heimlich Maneuver, removing casualties from dangerous situations, reassuring casualties and utilizing Automated External Defibrillators where available. All first aid supplies and equipment will be provided by the government. 5.3.2.29a. In the event of an emergency situation, the security guards may be required to provide transportation for the Federal Occupational Health Nurse located in the Kingman Building to attend to a patient in a tenant facility on Humphreys Engineer Center. 5.3.3.23 Emergency First Aid.
