- Description
- This requirement is to procure DAS replacement components and ancillary services. DAS is test equipment used to record test data during simulated testing events. The DAS allows instrumentation such as accelerometers and load cells to be connected during a test and records the data during a test event. The DAS components are manufactured by DTS, which has supplied the DAS components to the Government since 2009 and are the only supplier with the capability to supply replacements DAS parts and ancillary services for the current ATD design owned and maintained by TARDEC's Ground System Survivability group. The DAS is an onboard data acquisition system integrated into the ATDs. The DAS is used to collect injury data from tests.
