- Statement of Work U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a sole source contract to Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. DBA Jeppsen A Boeing Company to provide Mobile FliteDecks; Worldwide Aeronautical Navigation Electronic Charting for Electronic Flight Bags. These charts must provide worldwide coverage of enroute and terminal charts for inclusion on an Electronic Flight Bag, including airfields that are not currently supported by Defense Logistics Agency Flight Information Publications (FLIP's). These flight charts would be for the Electronic Flight Bags that will be distributed throughout all of Air and Marine. Jeppesen offers a comprehensive program for flight charts that entails the different areas of coverage required for mission success. Other flight chart companies, such as those used by the DOD, do not offer the comprehensive maps and approaches required for a safe mission completion. The anticipated contract period of performance will be from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018. This order will also have one option year period from August 1, 2018 through July 31, 2019. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. There is no formal solicitation available for this requirement at this time.
