Description
J&A for the EPS-R parts and material contract. This is an award notice for contract FA8808-17-C-0001 IAW FAR 5.301(a)(1)(ii). The attached Justification & Approval (J&A) authorized the non-competitive award of contract FA8808-17-C-0001 and is being made publicly available within 14 days of contract award IAW 5.301(d)(1) and FAR 6.305(a). The J&A will remain publicly available on FedBizOps for 30 days IAW FAR 6.305(d)(1),(3). The specific items to be purchased include space-qualified components and materials to include fliters, diodes, connectors, printed wiring boards, hybrids, transistors, capacitors, resistors, voltage regulators, thermopads, attenuators, relays, cables, dgiital integrated circuits, microwave monolithic integrated circuits (MMICs), application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), and substrates. Thses items are specific to the designs of the AEHF and EPS XDR payloads. The specifications for these items are proprietary to Northrop Grumman and have custom requirements based on unique design, manufacturing and test requirements and processes. The Contractor shall retain the necessary personnel, material, services, and faciliites to provide the parts for XRD payloads. The Contractor shall provide program management, business and scheduling management, subcontracts managment, mission assurance, material acquisition management, parts, materials, and processes. In addition to the described parts and materials, the requirements also include support services described in further detail in the attached J&A. The period of performance is 2 years from the effective date of the award of 7 July 2017 to 6 July 2019.
