Description

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Color Digital Printing Press Amended RFQ-2017-007 July 21, 2017 Question 1: Now that the quantity has been changed to 2 units, is the monthly volume that was 250,000 to be split between the 2 units (125k per unit/per month)? Answer 1: Yes, that is correct. (@125,000 per unit per month) Question 2: Specifications #5 - "Color Digital Press shall require no more than 3 feet of space around device and be no longer than 18 feet to fit in our footprint." Will this space requirement change now that you are requesting 2 units? Answer 2 : The footprint requirement will be per machine. Question 3 : For Specifications - Are all changes or revisions noted in red? And if so, please confirm the only changes to the minimum specifications requirements is quantity of 2? Answer 3: Yes, this is the only change. Question 4: Options #5 - "Color Digital Press will print on polyester stocks using clear toner technology." Utilizing clear toner technology is a vendor-specific application. Is clear toner a requirement for this RFQ? Answer 4: Clear toner is not a requirement - that is the optional function (and why it is listed under Options). However, printing on polyester is a requirement.
