- SSJ Attachment NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS), plans to procure on a sole source basis one firm fixed price purchase order to Immix Technology, Inc., McLean, VA 22102, for a Pitney Bowes Geocoding Software and Associated Components in order to satisfy the Agency's requirement. This acquisition will be processed under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12, Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures as stated in FAR part 13.106-1(b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System code is 334516 and the business size standard is 1,000. Delivery shall be within sixty (60) days after award. Product Description : Pitney Bowes Centrus/Enterprise Geocoding Module and associated components: Enterprise Geocoding Module Client/Server and Batch (Qty: 2) Database Format Fee (Qty: 2) Desktop Address Coding Module (Qty:1) Desktop Coding Module Additional Users (Qty: 4) NAVTEQ bimonthly update (Qty:1) A sole source acquisition is justified because Immix Technology is the only source that will meet the Agency's technical requirement. There are no other suppliers that will satisfy this requirement. CDC intends to negotiate this requirement with Immix Technology under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), Only One Responsible Source, and 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1). Immix Technology is the only source available to provide these services needed for the continuation of the CDC Division of Laboratory Sciences. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. A determination to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement as described above. All responses should be received by August 9, 2017, at 10AM, Eastern Standard Time (EST). All responses must be in writing and can be sent via email to bbv9@cdc.gov with the reference number 2017-Q-67251 in the subject line. No telephone calls will be accepted.
