- RFI RFI Questionnaire SOW REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY The United States Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) is hereby releasing this Request for Information (RFI) for the Office of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Systems Engineering) (OASD (SE)). Companies are encouraged to respond to this request if they are interested in receiving the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement described in the Draft Statement of Work (SOW) Attachment 1, and shall complete the RFI Questionnaire Attachment 2. This is a new requirement; there is no incumbent contractor. The procurement method for this requirement has not yet been finalized. The information resulting from this RFI will assist the Government in finalizing its overall acquisition strategy. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of response to this announcement. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). No quotes will be accepted at this time. Estimated RFQ opening date is, at present, undetermined. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any preparation costs associated with this RFI. All timely responses will be considered. No hard copy or facsimile submissions will be accepted. Extraneous materials (brochures, manuals, etc.) will not be considered. The Government does not intend to rank submittals or provide any reply to interested firms. Responses to this RFI shall be submitted by 5:00 PM CST on 26 July 2017 to Jared Ayers at Jared.r.ayers@usace.army.mil and Marla Jacobs at Marla.Jacobs@usace.army.mil. Questions concerning this announcement will be due by 2:00 CST on 25 July 2017 and no further questions will be addressed after this date. Agency will not respond to any questions as a result of this RFI. Questions will be used to refine the requirement. All questions shall be submitted via email only to Jared Ayers at Jared.r.ayers@usace.army.mil and Marla Jacobs at Marla.Jacobs@usace.army.mil.
