- LSJ to award a delivery order on sole source basis to SAP NS2 On behalf of the 1st Special Operations Wing and in accordance with FAR 8.406-6(a)(1)(i)(B), the 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron/LGCC at Hurlburt Field, FL intends to award a delivery order (under the simplified acquisition threshold) on a sole source basis to SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) to provide Sybase software and support/maintenance to this installation. The Government believes SAP NS2 is the sole manufacturer of Sybase software and associated software product support services. SAP NS2 has the patented, proprietary, and commercial product to provide software, licenses and maintenance to support the existing Government owned operating systems. There is NO solicitation documentation. This notice is not a request for quote. The contract award number is FA441717F0213 in the amount of NOT TO EXCEED $26,531.52. Anticipated award is 21 July 2017. Interested firms may send a capability statement to the attention of Matthew Bowser at the following email addresses; matthew.bowser.2@us.af.mil and jesse.capik@us.af.mil. Capability statements must be received in the office within 5 days from publication of this notice. Authority for this sole source requirement is conducted through 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or limited number of sources and no other type of property will satisfy the need of the Government as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services require at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.
