Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BIDS, QUOTES, OR PROPOSAL. AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. THIS NOTIFICATION IS POSTED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS PROCUREMENT ACTION IS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF A SPECTROMETERS. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to sole-source this requirement to Anton Paar USA, Inc, located at 10215 Timber Ridge Dr, Ashland, VA 23005-8135. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If you feel your firm can provide these services, please submit a capabilities statement by 09:00 AM EST, August 4, 2017. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
