- ****ATTENTION*****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO RAY ZAKARY, CONTRACTING SPECIALIST, CCAM-DPD, VIA email: LOUIS.R.ZAKARY.CIV@MAIL.MIL. No telephone requests will be accepted. The Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Redstone Arsenal anticipates issuing a firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of non-personal services for the annual Preventative Maintenance, calibration and on-site repairs to CCAD's 12 Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). This contract will require the performance of 100 percent of scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration to OEM standards, and conducting all repairs to include parts support, 100 percent of the time within time frame specified. Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology, LLC holds proprietary rights to the machine design and the operating software. No other vender is authorized to perform services or maintenance on this equipment. ***This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose.*** This announcement does not constitute a RFP. Currently, ACC is only seeking to identify entities with an interest in, and qualifications to provide, the anticipated services listed above. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate.
