- SYNOPSIS AMENDMENT 0001: AMENDMENT 0001: This amendment is to notify the MAC awardees under solicitation N00164-R-WS81 with agreements N00164-14-G-WS87, N00164-14-G-WS88, N00164-14-G-WS89, and N00164-14-G-WS90 of our intention to change the contract vehicles from BOAs to IDIQs. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to convert the Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA's) N00164-14-G-WS87, N00164-14-G-WS88, N00164-14-G-WS89, and N00164-14-G-WS90 to Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. These BOA's were awarded from solicitation N00164-14-R-WS81 and each had an ordering period of three years ending 24 September 2017. In the conversion process, the Government intends to extend the ordering periods for an additional two years through 24 September 2019, and increase the ceiling amount available for obligation across all MAC IDIQs by $13.48M. All IDIQ contracts will be awarded as unpriced actions. Only awardees of an unpriced IDIQ will have the opportunity to compete for future job orders. Each requirement will be competed IAW FAR Part 16. It is anticipated that two year, Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) IDIQ contracts will be awarded. Delivery will be required F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. This solicitation has closed and this amendment is only to give notice of the Government's intention to change the contract vehicles of the above mentioned BOAs to IDIQ contract vehicles.
